You’ve never seen a hot tub like this before – the HotTug is a a wood fired hot tub that also doubles as a motorized boat. You and six friends can take a leisurely cruise down the river while lounging in the 100 degree tub, or drop the anchor and float the day away with a few drinks. Check out the pictures of this amazing hot tub in action.
If you don’t feel like soaking as you roll down the river, you can also use the tub as a boat without the water, but I have no idea why you’d want to. The motor comes in two different options, either an integrated electric or an outboard gas motor, and you’ll get 2.5 and 8 hours of travel out of each respectively.
The designer of the boat, Netherlands-based Frank de Bruyn, who says, “It’s much more than a boat, it’s a vessel with different options. When the tug is filled, there is only a narrow rim between you and the water, making you feel at one with your surroundings.”
The HotTug might be designed in the Netherlands, but it’s currently taking orders for worldwide shipping, which means you can snag your very own floating hot tub, ensuring that everyone will be hanging out at your place on the weekends. For more information on purchasing your own HotTug, head to the official website (make sure you click English!).
